The Fire

this morning i saw another moose...no camera. becoming a habit. no rain today, first day since i've been here without rain. was a nice sunny afternoon. a chore i had today was putting all the brush from the trees that were cut yesterday in the garden and burning them. nice to be in charge of a nice fire. this afternoon taylor and i went to make a dump run and go to the rock pile by the river and as we pulled into the dump there was all this smoke. alot of smoke, black, thick. someone apparently lit the dump on fire. it was the biggest fire i've ever seen and it smelled so bad. there were car batteries exploding, bullets popping, rubber burning..gross. the fire truck came while we were there. taylor used to be a volunteer firefighter here and he hopped the fence with the others and tried to slow the fire a bit. by that time tho, the fire had already jumped the fence and was starting on the willows on the other side. a sad sight. but what's really sad is that someone did this on purpose. then we went to the rock pile, we couldn't get all the way because the river totally washed out the rd...it was just gone, a big chunk. so, after our unfinished errands we came back and i learned how to solder a pipe. not too tough actually. think i'll probably remember how to do it. pulled more rocks today to go under the deck, then yoga. the other massage therapist in town was there tonight. we three (the teacher included) are going to start doing weekly trades starting saturday. can't wait. and who would have thought i would be getting a massage a week while up here in the bush! no complaints!!

Nothing really happened, it's just the stress of everything. It's catching up to me. And Doubt, Worry, Consumption...they like to visit alot. lol And when would be a good time to call? I'm busy this afternoon and tonight. It's becoming a regular thing these days. No down time. But, that's the way life is. ;)
