another lie

another great weather day. we are definately having a bit of a summer now. rained for about 15 minutes pretty hard this afternoon, but cleared right up and got sunny again. not a bad day. did a lot of running around..took the casualties out to the river, and kent (a guided fisherman) returned this morning. kent was here during the king salmon run and came back for the silvers. he is our only guest this evening as well as tomorrow. it's great too because he is in his room for the night by 7:30-8pm. got to go to yoga this evening as well and that's always a good thing! louie and i cleaned up gear this afternoon and actually got to finish early. 5pm!! this evening after i returned from yoga i was in the living room eating and rob and louie were talking. rob is thinking of putting louie out in the woods for 2 wks starting aug 28 to hunt. louie suggested putting me out there for a wk and robs response was "riiight". not a good "right" if you catch my drift. so..not only do i not get a float, i don't get the caribou hunt i was promised either. really, really disappointed. really. i just don't understand. on top of this, the 1st 2 wks of sept are insane busy. they will be just like it was in july during the king salmon run...5:30am mornings and i will be doing it alone because louie gets to be out there hunting. i work so hard for this guy and this is the thanks i get?
