The Fight

this morning at 5am i woke up to loud voices. really loud, from outside. at first i thought it might be some people from barrick arguing...however, when the loud voices preceded the VERY loud banging on the house, yelling, pushing, and more banging, i knew it wasn't them. sleeping in the loft i can hear everything in the house. i waited a bit to see if someone was going to take care of it, because really it was kinda scary. (there is a 38 right at the top of the step, but to even have that thought..nervous.) i mean it's 5am and there are two men fist fighting on the front porch and i'm laying there thinking they are going to come in the house. soon the dogs started barking and the boss went out and yelled at them. apparently one had a bloody lip and the other was a real short kid - and he's the one who bloodied the other dude. what a morning.! Real nice day, sunny, bout 60. nice. did some work with rocks again under the deck.after this summer i don't plan on working with rocks for a day job. man. i met the owner of midnight sun trophy pike adventures. seemed like a good egg. made a run to town and the dump. at the store they recently received a nicer shipment of produce. i heard in yoga that there was a lot of nice stuff that they hadn't put out. well it just so happens that amber is the mother of the daughter who runs the store. so we took our ammo with us because supposedly they were hiding the good produce. included in the produce was zucchini. mmmm...zucchini bread. (then a phone call to mom). making it tomorrow. also they had eggplant. 3 of them. on early bird special. a rarity only i appreciated. i told my co-workers they just didn't even know...and the more for me. also had 2 more barrick people show. one is from russia. hard to understand, quiet. big group but all seem layed back and friendly. it's been a long one.
