king salmon

50 and cloudy. bugs are TERRIBLE, and apparently people forgot to tell me that after the mosquitos are gone which happens in july, that the no-see-ums arrive...and they are worse...not sure how such an important fact got slipped through the cracks. anyway...planted 22 spruce and took care of other outside duties...maintenance kind of stuff. gave miriam a massage this afternoon. going to take her to the airport tomorrow for her lovely trip. she showed me pics of her dads place on the beach..man. jealous. it's just gorgeous! going to miss her alot! nice evening with the group. we sat around the table and talked after a wonderful dinner of fresh king salmon, veggies and rice. yummy yummy. the salmon came from an evening trip one of the crew went on at the river. it was caught by net. and it was so good. the best meal nat has made. i had seconds. pretty good day.
