middle of the wk news

going to be another short sleeping night....i need to stop getting 4-5 hrs sleep. it'll change..it has to. nice day, no sun. burned brush, sprayed the yard, trees, took hours. that was my big chore..a ton to spray. not my fav activity...walking for hours in chemicals with a 4 gallon plastic container strapped to my back..poor shoulders. still, not a bad day. the crew received their weekly shipment of fruit, and included were 2 tubs of bing cherries! yummy!! one tub is already gone. they are addictive. miriam called to let me know that she and her little one are off to spain for a month. they leave in a couple days. my wonderful friend is going to be gone for bit. i'll miss her a great deal. she has become someone very special who i look forward to seeing every wk. at least she won't be gone for the whole summer though..but still a month with no miriam won't be the same. she's going to see her dad who has a place on the beach...lucky lady gets to bask in the spanish sunlight on the beach for a month! i'm jealous!! praying she has a safe trip and return back next month.
