christopher, arnold & joe

i worked with christopher walken, joe pesci, and arnold today. ;-) so louie...one of the mountain men does impersonations of all these people and he is really good. really good. i laughed so hard my gut ached. it sure made the work day more enjoyable. his christopher walken is so good...it's my favorite. pretty busy day. this morning ty, louie and i cleaned the 2 truckloads of gear. took all morning. this afternoon consisted of daily chores, burning brush, dump run, and picking up 2 guys who are staying the night - a B&B night only. they are flying out tomorrow. aniak is also full of smoke. the lightening the other day started many tundra fires and smoke is everywhere. all day it smelled like farmers burning fields, a pleasant smell on a nice 70 day. there was another fire crew in this evening, although we weren't asked to feed them. apparently the fires are pretty bad..not good news at all. kent (the guided fishing guy) caught a king today which we will be eating tomorrow for dinner. tonight we had red salmon (a gift from greg). this was a first time to eat red..it was super. nat and i ate it on fresh spinach and brown rice. yummy!!
