back to the asylum

and so starts the end of my time here. only 6 wks left and counting every minute. had a nice welcome back from my all too short time away. when getting out of the truck the first thing my boss says is, "what the !@#$% did you do to your hair?? what, are you goth now"? nice rob. all i can say is he obv doesn't know me at all. and for the record, i love my hair. cleaned gear all day. none of the gear from the floats that came in while i was away got cleaned. nor did dump runs get made, or the dog doo picked out of the yard. our new girl marie starts tomorrow so we've been cleaning since 4pm. also ned the mechanic flew in today to fix robs plane - the cub - in which he's had 2 accidents this season in. think that means something? like karma biting him in the booty? one can hope. natalie also received some bad news. double bad news actually. the first is that her extension for staying in the U.S. another 2 months was denied. she recieved the email today. this means she has to be out of the country by sept 7. crap. my sympathy is real, but i'm also sympathizing for myself. i got scolded by her for being gone 5 days, how the heck will i handle that long without her? i don't have a clue. so not only that, but her visa app was also denied for her to travel to the UK to work for a yr. not a good afternoon for natalie. poor woman. she's in tears and there is nothing i can do to help. i told her to flee...although i don't know where to. so, nat only has 15 days left. i'm going to miss her like all get out. and what's worse is i don't know when i'll see her again. anyway, going to help nat with dinner. cheers (as nat says).
