maybe

i'm told that i will be joining louie tomorrow at the buckstock pickup to learn how to row a raft. supposedly we will be leaving after breakfast and i'll get a 7 hr float trip. i'm trying not to get too excited about the whole thing, because if i do and it doesn't happen, i'll be very disappointed. there is gear to raft home..and the possibility of fishing at the same time. crossing my fingers and praying the weather is nice, or that my boss doesn't change his mind.
rob was flying for most of the day, and it was steadily busy here. the girl that was supposed to start next week did not end up calling, so we're thinking she petered out. this means i have to find someone else asap. today i also got the job of ordering a new vacuum. now this isn't just a vacuum.. it's the ultimate vacuum. it's a Dyson D15 All Floors Ball Animal in purple. it is the prettiest thing you ever saw, and for $600 it better be. it was quite a thrill being able to spend robs money like that. and i'll never own a vacuum like that, so i'm throwing myself into the excitement. i did do some research and found a vacuum wholesaler and i saved rob over $200. the vacuum has been the most excitement i've had in a while...geez, kinda puts things into perspective. huh.
