sunday
got the group of 3 out to their float, so most of the day was spent waiting for airport runs. took awhile as there was a long gear run first, then we had to wait for some of their luggage to arrive. cleaned gear and bunkhouses in between runs. a pretty melancholy day for me as i'm feeling a bit homesick and disappointed about the deal with natalie. really bums me out. this evening marie made chicken and dumplings...mmm good. she is quite the cook and willing to use recipes as the previous cook would not. a nice change of menu and the guests have made several positive comments. seems like marie has been here forever, but actually only been here 3 days. she is from here in alaska, and has done some traveling. she taught english in thailand for awhile, has worked with autistic children, and been a camp cook. she has cooked for groups of 70 and 200. can't imagine the amount of food that is. it's amazing to see how much food 15 men eat. you wouldn't believe it.

I'm sorry for whatever has happened with Nat. It seems like it's the time for people to show their true colors lately... it's making me feel lonely in this place too...
I hope you have the time come hang out at some point, before I leave.
Oh, and by the way, yoga has moved to the church that is a few buildings down from the store. The one where Taylor preached in. We're doing craft night right after yoga in the church, so we've moved everything there.
Big hug for you, my dear.
