changes by the minute

good heavens what a day! i mean it's been non-stop, seriously since 7am. we had 2 groups of hunters arrive at the same time this morning, but one group was leaving at 12 to get dropped in the field, and the other at 5pm. so goes my day of paperwork for everyone, (which takes a while), getting their gear ready in a specific time frame for departure, checking on new arrivals that didn't show, another group at 3pm, and another group who will be here until oct 1 arrived at 6pm, plus errands, phone calls, emails, more phone calls, helping marie with as much as i can in between my duties, and all the while answering to rob, making sure lou is doing what he should be, and keeping the guests happy, i still managed to eat a couple of really, really yummy double chocolate almond cookies marie baked. ahh..and that makes it all disappear for just a second. plus, the 2nd group that was supposed to go out at 5pm couldn't because of bad weather in the mtns. or at least 3 of them couldn't. rob flew one of them to his camp and the rest were supposed to be flown in on the 207 with inland. so rob was able to land in the cub, but the 207 is larger and can't handle the wind that was there...so we have an extra 3 people for dinner which wasn't planned for. and so ends another day of not ever really knowing what the next 15 minutes will bring, kind of like the weather.
