the water went out

while marie was in the shower, the water went out. so for about 15 minutes we freaked out because tomorrow we get a ton of people in, plus we hav 4 overnighters now...they showed up at the last min much to our great disappointment. so much for a night free of guests. this is the only night we had the chance to be guest free. oh well. today was busy with getting gear ready for the 3 groups that come in tomorrow, plus getting bunkhouses ready for BLM Bureau of Land Management who will be here until Oct 1. mowed the lawn this afternoon and evening. turned out to be a great weather day as well. was cool fall weather this morning, about 40, but sunny and no wind. perfect! about half the leaves are still on the trees...and yellows and reds are here already. kinda cool to smell that fall smell and the wood stove going all day long while marie bakes fresh bread...yummy!!!
