Herring Eggs

this is a native treat. they eat them like candy, with soy sauce. and they are not good. amber is a native, and she got some and a few of us tried them. ugh. definately an aquired taste.
gorgeous day. sunny, bout 65, small breeze. pretty busy day. did faa paperwork this morning for awhile. ran errands, mowed the back yard, burned leaves, picked up the side yard for mowing. and so the mowing begins. twice a wk for as long as i'm here. easily a 3-4 hr job per mow. all push...which i really do prefer. next wk i'm told is when the salmon start...hope to have some in the freezer!! all the boats are in the river all set up. amber tells me that they have fish camps along some parts of the river. this is where they bring the fish and are cleaned, or done to whatever they do to them. i would love to find one and check it out. dont know how close they do it, but definately want to look into it. and the mosquitos aren't even bad yet they tell me. but they are! what a pain. they are huge. huge. nothing works. nothing. i have 7 today. mostly on my back and i had long sleeves on yesterday. not looking forward to when they're bad.

Tried calling twice tonight. Busy both times. I really wanted to talk. :( bummer man! I'll try tomorrow when I get up.

Isn't there something like a big bubble with netting that you could invent to escape mosquitos? You know, something to walk inside of with openings only for the hands and feet? Think about it....
