"Oh Boy"

these are the infamous words spoken from my boss' mouth when he's not listening. i picked up on it pretty quickly and called him on it today. and of course i told everyone to be aware in front of him...which i'm sure he appreciated. today was gorgeous. it was sunny all day until about 3. temp got up to 67...beautiful. then a storm moved in and within 15 min the temp dropped to 50. today i had to rake more rocks on the back side of the house, raked more leaves, and had to get on the roof again. at least i didn't get rained on this time! got a nice compliment from rob about being a hard/good worker. nice to hear. its pretty easy to give him a hard time about working b cuz more than once, i'll be busting my booty on some really grand chore while hes sitting at his bedroom window playing on the internet. nice boss. today i had to hammer some stuff and of course i hit my finger. man does that hurt! and i now have a couple callouses and my hands are not all soft like they were giving massages. didn't realize what a pansy i was!! a big project i started today is painting the shed and bunkhouses with wood oil. should take a few days to finish. tomorrow we have a group of 10 coming in from vancouver for 40 days. they are from barrick gold. life will change as we all know it for a long time. there will now be constant people in the lodge eating, watching tv, doing laundry. they will be gone in the day tho, so at least we'll have a few hrs without them. ordered a wheelbarrow today too! no more pulling the bright orange sled around the yard. i think i'll miss it.
