One Week

i've been here for one week today. hard to believe. it really feels like i've been here a month. today was a busy one...as most are. spent half the day under the deck smoothing dirt and pushing rocks to even out the slope. the other half of the day was spent turning over the dirt in the garden to get ready to till tomorrow. got all the veggie seeds in today..also starting those tomorrow in cups because it still gets too cold at night to plant outside. i will be planting carrots, radishes, spinach, lettuce, beans, onions, cucumbers, broccoli, cabbage, and the tomatoes will be inside - because they dont grow well here. large garden! i'm excited for that. i also learned a bit about nails and screws. like what kinds to use where. used the drill today to make holes in the compost buckets for the garden. that was kind of cool. that was my day, nothing exciting, just worked and now i'm aching. had jumbo shrimp for dinner. pretty tasty little things.
