the weather was great today. got to 70, which is warm...compared to 38 for the high. an extremely busy day. it just slowed down bout 1/2 hr ago. was supposed to give miriam her weekly massage but had to cancel because so much to do. hate missing time with her. i have 3 mosquito bites on my face...real hot. but then so does everyone here. they are miserable bugs. most of us spent the entire day outside...even nat and amber. i sprayed round-up, worked on leveling areas of the yard, loaded the plane and did all the pre-flight checks..louie got flown out to camp today. worked on getting the inside of a bunkhouse ready for bill. he's a retired professor from montana that comes in monday and will be here until august. he and i are supposed to be doing the equipment side of getting clients ready to fly out. that starts the 26th. anxious for it to start (i think). ran errands, spent some time with amber as i am helping her with some paperwork she needs done, and did some laundry for the boss. tonight was pizza night from the hound house. the crew said that they read an article in an airplane magazine about the hound house. apparently it is the only pizza place for a long ways and many other villages fly into aniak to get this pizza. i believe they also deliver to other villages...yes, it's that good. the article said the vegetarian is one of the favorites...which i agree with. it's so good. and i realized the treat i spoke of yesterday is called nutella, not nuella. i highly recommend it!
