Shee Fish

a pretty good day. it was pretty chilly today..rained off and on a bit. tilled the garden for weeds, put dirt in low spots in the yard, and learned how to make a gate for the garden fence. this was really interesting. taylor showed me how and it looks pretty cute. the gate is a lattice look. this evening after dinner i went fishing with some of the barrick crew. it was so pretty out there on the point. the point is where the rivers meet. i saw 2 rainbows this eve..the first i've seen. they were beautiful and big. the view was awesome. the river was calm, and as you look north you see the russian mountains and it was cloudy over them, but a patch of blue with a rainbow was there too. really cool spot to be fishing. one of the guys caught a shee fish on his 5th cast. i'll be cooking it tomorrow night for supper. it was 11 lbs and he caught it with a hot pink and red salmon fly. a pretty silver fish. hope it tastes as yummy as it looks. also since the barrick crew switched again - kathryn came back from her vacation and brought me a carhart zip hoodie...she has one like it and i complimented her on it...well she showed up with one for me and all she wants is a massage in exchange. great deal!! it's dark grayish and fleece lined. very comfy!! and was so nice of her to think of that. it's almost 1am and i have to get up at 6am...but definately worth it to haave spent the evening fishing. even if i didn't get anything.
