today is my best friends bachelorette party that i put together but cannot attend..sorry honey. hope you are having a wonderful time. wish more than anything i could be there tonight.
it rained this a.m. but cleared up a bit this afternoon. the sun popped out now and then and this evening is calm and nice. a steadily busy day. nat and her sis decided not to go on the float (don't ask me why, they are content being inside i guess - it was rainy, but if i had the choice, don't think i'd let the rain stop me. that's what gore-tex is for). ty still had to go float and get gear but i still wasn't offered the choice to go. not really surprised. the 4 guys from the river didn't all get in until 7pm...and the gear will be arriving with ty in the afternoon tomorrow. spent part of the day getting gear ready for 2 guys that are flying in tomorrow morning, plus gotta get these 4 to the airport and get ready for a group that arrives monday for a float as well. really would like to get together with miriam soon, hopefully within the next couple days. i'm sure she needs a massage as much as i do!! august is a slower month, although on the 14th, we have a group from newmont in until sept. this is another mining group, and will be as big as barrick was. this should be interesting considering we will still be having clients in as with barrick, they were the only ones here. will be busy and full every night. thank goodness nat is insistent that everyone be out of the lodge by 9pm.. with the exception of guided guests.
