friday

48 was the high this afternoon. it's starting to warm up a bit now, the sun is trying to come out. it's drizzled and rained most of the day. a group came in this morning for a float trip and just got the last guy out on the plane. spent the morning working on the yard, getting ready for a ribbon around the perimeter to mulch. got the guys ready for their float, ran errands. the boss has been gone most of the day - so it's been an ok day. i was told that i'm supposed to be managing the outside duties and the guys. i'm told that i need to do what he does and walk around and delegate work - sorry, but i don't get pd enough to manage and i certainly do not operate like my boss when it comes to ordering people around. i am happy to get in there and work right along with the guys. i don't mind swinging a pick. have a couple in for a couple nights for the b&b...and kent the guided guy is here til monday. nothing exciting today...feels like a monday actually.
