no rain! was able to get a few hrs of weeding done in the garden...which i enjoy. it always seems though i get pulled from this duty to go take care of something else. ty (the mountain man) is back from his float and will be staying a few days in civilization until he heads back out to raft for the fish alaska people. the big news is the river and the lack of fish in it. the river apparently has been changing rapidly just over a matter of a few hours. it's rising and murky and the fish are almost nowhere to be found. at least where our guided fisherman is. it's bad enough that he's not going out fishing tomorrow....not what we all want to hear. but what can you do? nothing spectacular today...daily chores as usual, getting ready for fish alaska...the magazine group that is coming out friday. we're all hoping for a great article in their magazine, however with the fishing the way it is not...who knows what will happen!
