this evening i have been outside with louie, and the 2 guys from new zealand that finally came in from the mountains. i say finally because the weather today was horrible for flying and they were supposed to be picked up at 12pm, but didn't get in until 5:30pm. as we're standing outside drinking alaskan pale beer and louie and i are sharing a cigar, louie is talking about rob, the dogs and how i get treated. to paul and sam he says, "this is the order in which liz falls in the scheme of aniak air guides - rob, bear, lucy, josie, bill (all dogs listed after rob), louie, nat and liz". and he is so right i laughed until i cried. and for the record so did paul and sam. so...i am at the bottom of the totem pole and all i can do is laugh. i have to. plus, louie is a story teller and the way he describes my treatment is just too funny.
anyway, the group that got in yesterday for the float didn't get out until late this afternoon because of the low ceiling and fog. today was an indoor work day. i worked on inventory lists and opps manual info..and i also got just a bit of time to read. not long, but a little. wasn't able to go to yoga for the 2nd time this wk. hate missing it.
